About this event

Lt. Governor Dan Patrick and Senator Angela Paxton

This month’s program features two elected officials, who, from very diverse backgrounds, have become two of the most influential conservative Republicans in Texas.

How diverse?  How about a celebrity sports talk show host and one-time rodeo clown paired with an adopted infant girl and teacher.

So, what do you get when you mix

  • So, what do you get when you mix

    • A talk show host with wit, humor, and a million listeners on 360 radio stations,
    • A best-selling author,
    • An Emmy award winner,
    • A one-time cattle drover and rodeo clown,
    • And a no-nonsense staunchly conservative politician?

You get:       LT. GOVERNOR DAN PATRICK

Lt. Governor Patrick will be discussing the upcoming elections at the state and national level and what to watch out for in the 2025 legislature.

Lt. Governor Patrick was first elected Lt. Governor of Texas in 2014 and then re-elected in 2018 and 2022. He is a preeminent voice for principled conservative policies both in Texas and across the nation

Lt. Governor Patrick is a leader in the fight to protect liberty, lower property and business taxes, create jobs and grow our economy, strengthen our grid by adding additional reliable dispatchable power, provide a high-quality education for all, secure our border, support law enforcement, and to protect life, religious freedom, and the Second Amendment.

Lt. Governor Patrick delivered the largest property tax cut in history, $18 billion, benefiting homeowners and businesses.

And what do you get when you mix

  • An infant whose birthmother chose life and who was adopted at birth,
  • The first in her family to attend college and on an academic scholarship,
  • A teacher in public and private schools,
  • A recipient of multiple awards for conservative advocacy in family and education,
  • And a no-nonsense staunchly conservative politician?

Senator Paxton leverages her expertise as an educator, experience as a small business owner, and deep roots in Senate District 8 to advocate for her constituents and lead on policy that elevates educational and economic opportunity and human dignity.

Senator Paxton currently serves as the Vice Chair of the State Affairs Committee and as member of the Senate committees for Finance, Education, Local Government, and Nominations. She is also the Chair of the Senate Republican Caucus, where she works with the other Republican Senators to advance our conservative priorities.
